Vertical construction now looks almost complete, with the main slide and the lift hill up. Buildings around the ride have now started to go up too.
Vertical construction has now progressed since our last update with one of the helix's now erected and ground work is continuing for the splash pool.

There is now little remains of Octopus Garden's, ground work is now well underway, with the bank near Tidal Wave half removed as well as Amity Cove theming.
Octopus Garden's has been all but removed with few traces of the area remaining, early ground work has started on the area and a larger area has now been fenced off from the public.
The deconstruction of Octopus Garden has continued since our last update, most of the rides have been taken down and some already removed.
On Sunday 5th September 2010, Octopus Garden's ran for the last time, as you can see, by the following Tuesday work is now well underway with the removal of the rides from the area to prepare for the new 2011 ride.
Thorpe Park have started their advertising campaign for the new 2011 water ride and banners have been put up around the rides future home.
In the first phase of the construction of the 2011 water ride actually started with the deconstruction of one of the Octopus Garden rides, Slippery Serpent removal stated on the evening of the 6th July 2010. After the removal, the HB Leisure attraction, the “THORPE PARK Bashing Balls” have been moved to the area.
