Amity High isn’t the only school in the area, and the werewolves at LycanThorpe High want to make sure you don’t forget that

The Howling of LycanThorpe High was a minimalistic scare zone. Created in part due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it increased the number of experiences available at Fright Nights. It also furthered the Amity High storyline, which had been a scare zone at the park for two years prior, and had turned into a dance show the previous year.

During the event, the scare zone would host the Lycans, who would roam around and interact with guests whilst music was played – sometimes via a DJ in the school bus parked up. When the Amity High show, located in Stealth’s plaza, was getting ready to start, the Lycans would leave the area, getting ready to ‘gatecrash’ the show and have a dance off.

This meant at times the scare zone had no actors and felt very quiet. But because of the large number of zones across the park, this wasn’t too much of an issue.

The Howling of LycanThorpe High was only its own area for the 2020 edition of Fright Nights. In 2021, the Lycans were solely based in Stealth’s plaza and the focus of both schools was placed there. However, the zone served its purpose of continuing the storyline, and spreading further awareness of the story across the park!
