Ride the wave as you flee from Amity Cove, as another terrible Tidal Wave washes over the shattered fishing village.
Added to the park in 2000, Tidal Wave has been decimating Amity cove for a decade now and continues to be one of the more memorable rides at Thorpe Park. One of the highest water rides in Europe, Tidal Wave pulls you up to 85 feet then drops you into a splash pool sending a 40 foot wave of water into the air.
When Tidal Wave was installed it was the highest, fastest and most thrilling ride at Thorpe Park. Now a days it compliments the parks other thrill offerings. However, it's not hard to see why Tidal Wave remains a favourite as another 20 riders take on the challenge!
Complimenting Tidal Wave is WWTP, Amity Cove's all day radio show feeding live news and weather up-dates in-between the music of the 1950's.
