New for 2003 was Nemesis Inferno, a B&M inverted coaster that travels into the depths of an erupting volcano.
Launching to an exciting bass line which represents a heart beat, the tension builds as you crawl forward and out the station into a glowing, mist filled tunnel, into the heart of the volcano. Having exited the tunnel, you continue on up the lift hill and round the rest of the circuit, which features an intense vertical loop, zero-g roll, interlocking corkscrews and a figure 8 helix, leading you into the break run.
Having only matured with age, Nemesis Inferno is a fine example of an inverted rollercoaster. While in the eyes of many it pails in comparison to the original Nemesis at Alton Towers, it is a wonderful ride and another exciting rollercoaster in Thorpe's line up.
